UNIT V - PSYCHROMETRY AND AIR CONDITIONING (15 hours)
Properties of atmospheric air - Psychrometric chart, relations.
Psychrometric processes - Sensible heating and cooling, cooling and
dehumidification, heating and humidification, adiabatic mixing of two
air streams. Air conditioning - Classifications -summer, winter, year
round air conditioning system, window, split and centralized
-Introduction to heat load calculations.
